Looking for Club/hunting partner in Central KY

Hi,
I live in Shelbyville, KY , not far from Frankfort or Louisville, KY and am looking for a detector club and or hunting partner, close by. I have used Whites detectors in the past and I am considering purchasing a Minelab CTX 3030 and would like to find some one in my area that has one that I can consult with and see if that is what I really want to do.

check out hoosier hills in seymour, in. if they're not close enough they may know someone or a club in your area. i'm in owensboro, ky. the closest club to me is princeton, in.

Thanks for the information. I will check it out. I moved here last year from South West Virginia, originally from Blacksburg, VA and there are a bunch of guys that detect there, but I haven't seen anyone around here detecting.

check out the latest issue of western and eastern treasures. there's an article about the ban on detecting in louisville and a hunter that's fighting it. it lists a club that he belongs to but no address.

UPDATE: Since my original post, I did purchase the CTX 3030 and love it. Looking forward to many successful hunts.
