I know they are out of production, but for anyone who has used one or still uses one, any comments would be appreciated. How does it work around sites with alot of decaying iron? is it just a relic machine or is it good for coins also? any comparisons to say the Tesoro Tejon or Fisher F75?
Thank you,
Neil

Had an X5 and Tesoro Tejon while living in Georgia. Both have excellent features. I wasn't impressed with performance in the mineralized red clay soil. Tejon is a better buy. Cult following of the X5 keeps the price high. Both are hyped in performance.

Check out this site for info on the X5, lots of good reading. The X5 is a great detector, loves Gold & Silver from the beach.
