me and a hunting buddy are getting ready to try to locate an old church that is shown on an 1876 atlas map. the map shows the church in a corner of a field just about 3 miles west of my house. we are headed there in a few minutes to see what we can find....possibly some nice old silver coins i hope. i'll let you know later if we had any luck at the site.

well, made it back from looking for the old church. didn't find any coins but was finding lots of old square nails in the field indicating there was a building there at one time. we will be going back a few times before the field gets planted to see if we can find anything.............roger
