Looking for an old book you can't find?

Pete in MI

New member
Sherry took me once to a place in Detroit, MI - a huge multi-story building - and we looked around for a long time looking for several books. This place was amazing and we didn't even hit every floor or go down each and every aisle in the place.

I found lots of books for example on CB radio and you know how old that hobby is and isn't much of anything any more - well, I saw books that I used to have or had wished I had dating back to that era.

Sherry told me that they have a web site and if I wanted books that I could not find anywhere such as eBay, Amazon.com and those other book places that this would be the place to leave a request for a book with. I just did. One book I have been wanting for a long time and is out of print. Am hoping they have it at a good price - even willing to pay more than what it was originally selling for and then some (as the author is no longer in this world).

So if you have a book or books you've been hunting for and can't find give these great people a try. (I'm not trying to do avertising for them - just giving you a chance to find something you've wanted and couldn't find from a source that may well have it.)

Here's the link: http://www.rarebooklink.com/cgi-bin/kingbooks/

There is a spot to put in your email address and another for the info of the book you want. Once they check it out they will send you an email back.

I could get lost in that place and be happy about it too

If I recall and Sherry just confirmed the prices of the books we had bought way back when were not even retail price so you could possibly even save money to boot.

Happy hunting (for that book you've been wanting).
