Looking for advice

Hello all, I am a NOVICE TH'er and haven't much experience. I am brand new to the site but think it is really helpful so far.

I have a trip to SW Florida planned for the end of this year. I am planning on bringing my Bounty HUnter Land Star detector for the beach. I was thinking about a handheld underwater detector for shallow hunting, specifically either a Vibra Tector 730 or a Vibra Probe. Either one would allow me to search areas at wading depth, maybe using snorkeling gear. Anyone used either of these or have any suggestions? Of the two, which would be the best option for using the handheld alone? The Land Star says the search coil can be submerged but I doubt it would withstand the salt water for very long and I think one of the handhelds would be much more convenient in terms of weight, etc. Thanks for any info or suggestions.

if you want to hunt the Beach then get a water MD there are plenty to choose from. Maybe start with a unit in your price range and move up. I started with the Bounty Hunter Detector and went to Whites--i have the Beach Hunter Id and love it=there service is second to none. Excal is great and Garett is great--choose and learn your MD
