Looking for a new knife as a digging tool?

Sven

Remington Sportsman F.A.S.T. Fixed Blade

Have een looking for the perfect knife to replace mine as a digger tool.
I found this Remington that looks like it will fit the bill. Price wise not bad about $17.00 to 20.00
depending where you buy it. Walmart carries them, you can find them on Fleabay as well as
Amazon. I ordered two. If you don't like the handle, you can always replace them with your
own custom made ones. Something I am thinking about.

Here's the specs.
* Blade Length: 5.375"
* Handle Length: 4.125"
* Total Length: 10.5"
* Blade Material: 440 Stainless Steel
* Handle Material: Aluminum with Rubberized Coating
* Comes with a black Cordura sheath

Then I found another knife blade that I really like that is similar in blade length and size.
Costs more than the Rem.

I use a knife to cut quick clean plugs. When coin targets are shallow, I use a screwdriver I converted into a probe
coin popper.

I like the Hori Hori Knife as I prefer a longer blade for cutting and digging.

That Remington knife would be great as the blade continues all the way through the handle. I use an old Bowie knife
for a digger/plug cutter because you can use knives like mine and the Remington to 'pry' with and they won't
bend or break...........and sooo much more cost efficient than a Lesche.

I found the Bushman recently and don't think I will ever need another knife:
