looking for a new detector

I am now beginning in the world of detecting and i am looking to buy a detector, the problem is finding the correct one for my search. Mainly i will be searching on land and along a small stream ( ankle to knee deep) the area is said to have gold and panning was done about 20 years ago with success on topsoil to about 2m. at first I got a minelab eureka gold off the ebay, it worked well for one hour of testing ( found all objects and quits at 20cm depth ). I am trying to decide on the

1- xp goldmaxx power
2- minelab x-terra 70
3-minelab SD2100v2
4-fisher gold bug

can anyone give me advice

For gold with very little trash in the area:
3-minelab SD2100v2

or look for a cheaper second-hand green box SD2200, GP3000 or 3500.
