Looking for a detector to just dig coins only TID

I'm gonna sell off my old Sov XS and get a new coinshooter. Just want to dig coins, so the ID has got to be dead on. Also would be great if it could find nickles too, buff, barber etc... and avoid the mountians of trash.

The detector you are looking for is called her XL PRO THIS IS ONE NASTY COIN HUNTER ON ALL TIMES.
THE ID METER IS ONE OF THE BEST MADE.

I Concure (Spelling)...Runners up are the IDX Pro, 5900, 6000, and the Classic 5 ID....My Classic II SL without the TID is a coin sucker also, just never know for certain what ya got till it it is dug...Only distinct sounds I get are copper Cents, and Quarters...They both have a distinct sound.....

HH,

But i figured their would be something newer. Somebody was talking about the m-6??

If you want a very, very accurate coin shooter get the M6 you won't be sorry in any way.. Just a little info for you, I've had a BH Time Ranger, Goldbug II, Garrett 1350 and Infinium, Tesoro Tejon, Minelab XS and SE, Fisher F75, Minelab XTerra 70, and the M6.. The M6 is my favorite!! A few examples of what to expect..

Does the m-6 have the signograph?? I know the XLT does and I liked it.

[size=medium]the XL Pro. using a stock 950 or (my preference) a thin-profile 8" for "cruising purposes", and one of the 6

Been out of the "loop" for awhile.......lol

Monte, hit the nail on the head. The XL Pro and the modified IDX Pro are two of the best. I haven't found any detector that has a more accurate meter than these two for coin shooting. I've been using the 6000 series for over twenty years as my main detector for hunting old coins. When I picked up the modded IDX Pro and tried it for the first time I knew I finally had a detector combo that would do it all in my ground and the type of hunting I do. I guess I finally reached Detector nirvana with the XL Pro and IDX Pro.

...would the CZ6a fit in that category as a good one ? I know mine with the 5 inch coil is killer in trash and can sniff out silver dimes like no other detector I have ever used ( which includes the XL-Pro).

I think the XL-Pro and a CZ 5 or 6a are a killer combo for hunting coins.

R-nR;check out the analog forum!Theres a whole new world out there!!DBULL

Not a modded XLT as it has an analog meter. Not an IDX with tricks either. It used to be the 6000 Pro, then it turned into the XL-Pro because ( I think ) it then was manufactured with the smaller box.

It has 4 modes of operation, auto-gb, dead on meter and is awesome sniffing coins with the small coil.

You can get the manual on the Whites site. It has a picture of it too.

The hardest part about this detector is trying to find one !!!!!!
