Looking for a competition detector for my son.

Any suggestions on a good lightweight detector that isn't bothered by other detectors?

Thanks for any help.

Well yes.. You had to add "That are not bothered by other detectors". I think the Cibola would be a great tournament machine. It is light, easy to pinpoint and powerful. You could turn the sensitivity all the way down to reduce interference with other detectors and still have plenty of power to hit those targets.

The darn Cibola absolutely cripples my M6 whenever its within 20 ft of my machine. Really the only one I've found that bugs the heck out of my M6.

So the Cibola would be the ultimate machine. It is unaffected by other machines but drives them buggy. Cool.
