Looking at a Tesoro for coin hunting

Coin hunting in mild Midwest soil and can't decide. Outlaw,Vequero, or Cibola what do you guy's think. What's you opinion, thanks.

If you can find a used Golden umax, get it. For coin and jewelry hunting in the parks it can't be beat. If not, buy the Outlaw. Great disc, lots of coil choices, GB, and plenty of depth. Nice and stable, nice tone.

I have owned all three that you mentioned and they all find coins real well. Deeper of the three would be the Vaquero then the Cibola and Outlaw. I no longer own the Outlaw cause it is the same as my Bandido 2 micromax. For coin hunting in parks and such I use my Eldorado micromax which has the 180 disc and is deep also. Good luck on your choice, they are all good machines and will find the goods. Best all around though would be the Vaquero and if I didn't have any others that would be the first one I get.

V would be the deepest, found the 5 pin modals are hotter on gold though, who knew the lower freq would be better, that's my experience though, not that the 4 pins don't hit gold!!

Purchased my Vaquero back in Dec. I've been happy with it's performance. Depth is great on it.

I like the little Silver uMax as much if not more than the Vaquero for coins. The 11x8 coil is a great coil on both machines.
If you really want a coin magnet try a 3x18 cleansweep coil on a Silver uMax!
