Lookimg for a new detector,

SCfan

New member
I am an experienced user of different metal detectors.
I have owned the White Gold detector and the white DFX.
I sold my detectors when my wife was diagnosed with cancer.
She has beat the cancer and I am going to buy myself and her one.
I want a top of the line detector.
We are moving to Myrtle Beach and will not only do the surf detecting but also relic detecting.
I have looked at the different reviews and would like some ideas on the best one to get.
I really like the mapping and GPS and the fact the CTX-3030 is waterproof
Can anyone offer some advice?.
Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the CTX would be perfect for you. I use it on the beach all the time up here in NJ - also do a lot of coin and relic hunting with it. The GPS feature is great.

If you don't go with the CTX, you should at least go with the E-trac. It will do very well in the surf but remember it's not waterproof like the CTX.

Give me a call for PM me when you're ready to buy and I'll make sure you get the best deal out there.

Cheers and happy hunting!
