Lookie What I Found!!!!!

Gulf Huntress

New member
Hi everyone, well, Gulf Hunter has posted his finds for the last three hunts so now it is my turn, Monday was good, found a silver colored ring with elephants on it, no mark, but will take it and a few other pieces to the jeweler and will post the info later on. The beach hunt was not great, but turned up .98 cents in clad, a button, a small screwdriver and a gold colored seashell(charm, I think). Anyways, the water hunt was a bit more interesting, $2.13 in clad, 5 pairs of sunglasses, 2 were no good, 1 lurer, a puca necklace which I broke, but I got both ends and plan to put it back together again, also 2 ferrous earring hoops, another earring, not sure what it is is, but not ferrous. I found a barrette, a battery, a small silver colored clip earring with a shiny stone and then the silver colored elephant ring, it is heavy, but no marks, and the usual trash that is found in the water.
Tuesday's hunt was not as inpressive for me, I fought off the seaweed and then the fish, I was not happy about all that, I did manage to find1 ferrous hoop earring, 2 pull tabs, 7 booby pins, 2 pairs of glassess, 2 weights, 1 button and $1.83 in clad, I also came across the silvery earring in the second picture. Not to great, except for the earring and the clad.
Now Wednesday's Hunt was a bit more interesting, 2 pairs of sunglasses, 2 ferrous hoop earrings, 1 ferrous cross, 2 barrettes, a small swiss army knife, and now for the good stuff,
1 sterling earring, 1 .925 hoop earring, 1 .925 CX earring and then I also found a gold colored ring with a green stone securely held in place. There is no marks, so it will be going to the jewelers with the elephant ring from Monday's hunt, to be checked out under the big lense. I will update as soon as I return with info on these unidentified items. Hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Hunting.

Hi everyone, well, I had the ring checked out, it is 18K with a real Emerald, wow, also, it could date back to the 1920's or 1930's, I was just amazed at this ring being real, I am so tickled. Happy Hunting!!!!

If I come over, will you two bless my Excaliber? I have been having bad luck lately...Youse two yoots seem to have the groove going on! Very nice finds!! Congrats! :beers:
