[/img] Did not hunt the midway today horse day today so I hunted the side of the race track today . Just look what was in the hole with this 1927 buffalo 5 inches deep , #s were all over the place till I got it isolated came in at a solid 12.13 the funny thing is the pieces of junk come in at 12.35 . I dug a hole and the first thing out was 2 pieces of this , then I sweep it again and still get a 12.13 dug deeper and 1 more piece of this stuff ,was going to say pi*& on it sweep it again still 12.13 dig a little more and the buffalo comes out. Found this tiny sterling piece has a sword and key on it any ideas what it is , was 6 inches deep came in at 12.35. 2 sterling rings 6 wheat's 1920 oldest 2 Indians 08 and 01 2 mercs 37 and 44 a 1906 o barber dime and a 1934 quarter . Hope you got out sube

Great hunt Sube!

That's some diligence right there. I'm thinking you should be the next producer of one of these instructional videos. Show us how the master pulls those small dimes from amongst the mounds of trash!

Something similar to that happened to me today. The target ID said 45 so I dig it. I pull out a long piece of wire at about 4 inches. Stick the probe in the hole and still got a signal. I dig another inch of dirt and out pops a dime. The detect screen showed the smear of the wire, but wire dose not read 45. I like that feature.

Good luck-----------Happy hunting

Sube, apparently the entire fairgrounds is a treasure trove. Well done again.

Quack

As always congrats and WTG
