A dear friend of mine that I met through these forums decided that General Ray needed to chase his dreams and do something for himself, this dear friend told me, thank you for your story posts and what you do for other people in your life, your posts put a smile on my face and most of all put me right in your storys and dreams, this dear friend decided that General Ray needs to chase his dreams and do something for General Ray so what did this dear friend do, he sent me a gift <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="

I was taken back by this, totally stunned me, this has never happen to me and I didn't know how to handle it, I told this dear friend that I must do something for you but this dear friend said no way General Ray, this is my gift to you for all the years that you have put a smile on my face, I gave my word to my dear friend that I would never mention a name and I will honor this request, thank you my dear friend, your gift and good heart brings tears to the General's eyes, thank you my friend!
Heck folks, you all know me, you all know my post, I am a dreamer and you know that <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">, one day I'm Babe Ruth and the next day William Wallace, then maybe tomorrow Robert E. Lee at the battle of Gettysburg, I am what I am, a dreamer but my greatess dreams come from the unknown, space and whats out there.
My dear friend sent me a Newtonian Equatorial Reflector Telescope, in other words a Astronomical Telescope, I will be able to look into space for the first time <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">

How cool is that folks <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">, I have always wondered what is out there since I could remember and now I have the tool to look to the stars, plus the Telescope came with a really cool map to start me off with, I will frame this map and hang it on a wall.

I was very worried that I would miss the FedEx man so I got up at 4am and headed to work at quarter to 5, got done by 2:30 and raced home and 8 minutes later Mr. FedEx man showed up <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">, not being married or having somebody here to answer the door is pretty tough folks, thats why I never enter contest, they won't leave the package even if I leave the door unlocked with a note but I understand that <img src="/metal/html/sad.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":sad">
But I made it home for my new Telescope and man am I excited <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b">, can't wait to start putting it together, let me tell ya folks, these things are high tech and come in a thousand pieces <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
The Telescope came in a big box almost half the size of me <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b"> , when I opened the big box there were 8 other boxes in there, my dear friend told me get your tools ready Ray becaause there are many parts <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap"> and there are <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
But for the first time in many years I am excited about a new toy <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin"> I will take my time putting it together because it is high tech and tells me so, when I hear Royal and the Guv and Nimrod and RM talk about this lense or this thingy I think to myself man General Ray, you got some powerfull stuff here that needs to be carefully handled.
I have taken my first step into outa space folks, thanks to my dear friend <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> it is good to have dreams folks for without dreams you are just another person stuck in time eating up the clock and doing the 9 to 5 thing when you could see this and wonder where does this power come from.
