I picked this up today from a old guy That knows I love civil war items .He told me it was confederate.Has a old hemp rope as the strap. The
onlything is that long ago , someone patched a hole in the bottom with a piece of gray cloth and bees wax. It worked. Check out my other item I got from him.I am going to keep on searching until I go in for my surgery !
