I am so excited to add to my toys to help me find treasures. it seems to be in good shape. Has a cover on the coil as well.

It was $ 149.00 A hundred less than I paid for my new Silver Umax in Feb. i have no idea how old it is but it appears to have been treated kindly by the previous owner who had a cover on it. I wanted a 2nd detector but would not buy a another new one at this time.I got on the phone & called ten pawn shops until I hit the jackpot. they had at least 4 used detectors. the Fishers were over my budget & I liked Tesoro anyhow.

you got a great buy on a great detector ! in case the owners manual didn't come with it you should be able to find one on tesoro's website or call them and they will send you one by mail.

More than one good buy was had at a pawn shop or yard sale so join the crowd...Many try the hobby but few stick with it.....thus deals are out there if you look...

ccc,
That is one of the best Tesoro's made in my opinion, they are a little chattery in the thick small iron rubbish found in building tear downs, burned out houses and the like, but overall they are a delight to use. This detector was manufactured from around the year1996 to around 2000 when it was replaced by the Eldorado

I've bought and sold a few Tesoros so far, but I will never sell my Bandido II uMax. If I could find another one at that price I would buy it in a second. Enjoy your new detector and HH!!!
