I ordered the BH catalog a week or so ago, and they zipped it right off as it arrived today.

I was looking at the literature they sent....yeah seen this, yep, oh yeah all over the place, ah huh, OK.... hey what's this ?

Teknetics NEW Titanium Series ?

The Delta 4000, Gamma 6000 and Omega 8000 hmmm...

oh and their not available until July 2008....very interesting.

Sorry for the large image size, figured you folks would want to check 'em out in all their glory :inlove:

Might be old news, but the only thing I've seen about these is the Bounty Hunter Platinum AndyNM posted a teaser snip about, and not a word since

PS - They even have the prices listed:
Teknetics Delta 4000 - $399
Teknetics Gamma 6000 - $499
Teknetics Omega 8000 - $599

They certainly look alright, I may have to have a closer look when our importer gets them in. Thanks for sharing the pics'. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:

They look a lot like the X-Tera machines...wonder if BH is finally getting rid of the muffler on a stick look???
Now I am tossed up over the Omega, or the Time Ranger
BTW, I got my new catalog about 3 days ago...

Interestingly I posted the identical post on the Teknetics T2 forum and they deleted it for no known reason (WTH?).

The new F5 (see the Fisher forum) is looking mighty impressive, the F70 should be getting some feedback any day now, and then these three new Teknetics machines will be out shortly. First Texas is bringing out some impressive machines this year.

Strange goings on at Bounty Hunter/Teknetics/Fisher Labs. A couple of days ago I received a large envelope with brochures also except one of them was in German! And if I remember correctly (I don't have the brochures any longer as I didn't need them), they didn't include the Land Star in their lineup but did include the Camo version!

ya i think i saw one in the catalouge they sent me. they look pretty cool. would like to try one out for sure.

I think all the machines that are currently out in camo will remain that way, and they will drop the black versions....With the intro of the new Titanium series, I think BH will be changing their image soon...I think the detectors of old will soon be phased out over the next few years...

Alright question here, How much is to much for a detector? I look at the price for the teknetics and go holy crap thats a lot of coins and jewelry to find to pay for that! And are there even more expensive machines out there. Just curious?

The prices are a little outrageous for what is actually in the can (detector control housing)...It is like a magic show...you pay for the unknown...most folks have no idea about electronics, so the companies play on this..smoke and mirrors to get you to pay more...make it sound complex...It has to cost a lot right...wrong!!!

Hi Cal:

Should be interesting to see how well they work.
Seems every detector that comes out has some glitches to
get ironed out. The three new ones DO seem a bit spendy.
I have two good detectors already so it will be awhile before I spend
THAT much money on a new one.
