:look:NEED SOME FEED BACK ON BEACH HUNTING WITH ATPRO:look:

There are several sites including this one that will give you some generic ideas.

If you are looking for specifics, it is best to beach hunt at low tide. This normally happens twice a day. Tide charts for your area are available on the web.

Hunting the wet sand requires ground balancing quite often. Work from the high tide line out to the low tide line.

For water hunting there is usually a trough thet you can detect that will be about knee deep or a little deeper. Go slow and dig everything.

I would either run in all metal or just discriminate out iron only.

Get a good beach scoop. Stainless steel and a two piece handle, long handle for deep short for dry sand.

Dry sand, hit the towline line. Lots of goodies on the towline.

Good luck, sorry no one has answered your post. Folks are some time stingy with info.

Zero mode, iron at 35. I used the 8 x 11 dd but after a few hours it got heavy, actually ran my Tesoro sidewinder.

At. Pro works in wet or dry, just gb in each.

I went out at 530 am every day to 830 am. Ran th towline first and then worked the wet.

Get a long handled scoop

. I believe in disc at th beach. I tried with the Tesoro both ways and proved my point.

Use headphones

I am getting an Excalibur for next year and hopefully a Tesoro with gb:)

Towl-line or towline is the area above the high tide mark where everyone lays there towl out to
sun themselves or just sit. This is a great place to find coins and some jewelry.
Never search the towl line when the beach is packed, wait for evening or early morning.
There are multitudes of posts concerning beach hunting.

Oh yeah, towel line ! Well duh on me

Ok here's the straight skinny on beach hunting with the AT PRO. First put the machine in Pro Zero mode. Second, ground balance the machine. Now as you hunt check your display. Dig all repeatable targets in the range you like. The closer you get to the water the more you ground balance. If you start at the highest section of beach you will G.B. one number but when you get about halfway to the water, G.B. again. When you get about ten yards from the beach where sand is damp G.B. again. Now when you get very close to the water line G.B. again and sweep coil parallel to the water not perpendicular. Have fun and buy a damn good sand scoop. Enjoy!
