Long tones

I started using the long tones option on my Etrac and I really like the way it makes the targets sound off, to me it makes them sing out better and the targets seem to stand out better in the trashy spots.

Try smooth tones.----I liked long tones best for quite some time but now like smooth tones the best.-----I really like the distinct/abrupt/attention getter of the entrance & exit of the smooth tones hits.----They work the best in the trash for me also.
