Not hunting to much these days but did get out yesterday for 1 1/2 hours abd got this real nice seated quarter plus 2 Indians and 1 wheat. Just the right ratio for me old old & old, things are tough around here with all the explorers in the area so nice deep signals are far and few but every now and then a guy gets lucky. I'll try this spot a few more times and see what happens? Nice finds everyone good luck & HH Ken

Hi Keith yes it's a park find going back tomorrow for a short time to see if I can find more pre 1900 stuff. Finally after all that time the seated quarters are comming I was thinking this was my 3rd but I think it's the 4th 3 from parks and 1 from a field. I can't complain I've been pretty lucky with this detector when I have the time. I have'nt hunted a full day in a long time real busy these days I've had to put my metal detector career on hold. Look me up if you get close by if I have some spare time I'll meet you. HH Ken

Thanks. Hang in there I almost went crazy trying to find one just ask some of the original guys on here they know. The seated quarter taught me a lesson no more goal coins for me from now on I find what I find and I'm happy with that. After about 2 years with the Explorer I finally found one and now I have 4 the way I look at it it's almost like a numbers game. Saying that you still need to be in the right areas. It will come, we'll be looking forward to seeing it on here when you do good luck & HH Ken

that we might spend all day and only find 1 coin, or maybe even no coins but what ever we find it should date before 1891. Looking forward to it no matter what we find. Stay in touch HH Ken
