Long Overdue Beach Hunt

TRIPLE-SSS

Well-known member
I haven't been detecting for quite some time with having surgery, new grand kids and all the other things that life sometimes throws at you. I stayed out all day and now paying the price with a bad sun-burn and soar body, just turned 62 in March. I have to remember to slow down, the mind says one thing and the body another thing all together. I had a great time nevertheless. I tried something different and went to a secluded part of the beach. I don't know if it was the last hurricane washing debris into this are or possibly the county stripping the surface sand. Either way, I had a lot of hits with a crap load of old cans, different metals and of course my finds. My AT PRO did a great job identifying all the trash in the PRO mode with the disc. set at 35. It saved me a lot of time not digging the bad targets. The iron audio works great, dug some of the trash targets to make sure it was on the money. I was somewhat disappointed that I did not find hardly any jewelry, planning to go back and finish hunting the rest of the area in the next couple trips.

Happy Hunting

That is a pile of digging and I bet there is some gold and silver jewelry in that area. Stay at it and you will work yourself into shape. HH jim tn
