I know Ive been a little hard on my new ace 350.......Im just starting to think that the key to finding good things is 1/ hunting a place that hasnt been hunted much or at all and 2/ hunt a place that doesnt have much trash....lol.
The ACE 350 in my front yard today was great !! No trash and lots of relics.....Below I landed a 1949 Sky King's Spy-Detecto Writer......Im excited !!! Anybody else ever land any spy king collectables ?

My 350 grew on me too. Great machine. I am getting better in trashy areas. I hunt mostly in jewelry mode now, helps me not dig as much junk because of the added tone.

Garrett Machines are very interesting, I have not owned a 350 yet, but my buddy across the street does. It is my experience with Garrett's that they take some time to get to know them. But let me tell once you do get to know them your hunts get much better the more you use them. I found that I was swinging my GTI 2500 way to fast for over a year before it finally dawned on me to slow down. Once I did slow down I started finding all kinds of things and having a much better time with it. I developed a much slower swing and wiggle method over targets and it made a night and day difference. Just give your 350 a chance, I suggest a year before you truly form an opinion of it, but that;s just me. HH

What a fantastic find! I've found a few old radio serial toys, but nothing that cool!
