Long Island, NY Tomorrow 6/9- Wanna Go?

Leaving White Plains, NY at 6:00am in the morning Thursday 6-9-11 for low tide at Jones Beach at 8:10am. I have room for two - 914-589-3985 We split tolls and parking, I pay gas. Please call before 10pm tonight, or email me at Terry@TerrySoloman.com for a future hunt. We are starting a club!
 
What a beautiful day on the beach! Got on the sand at 7:00am, an hour before low tide, and got busy in the surf right away. Fish hooks, boat screws and bottle caps for the first hour. First clad showed up in the second hour, along with the first hoop - Copper. The last two hours gave up two more costume hoops and a few dimes and quarters. Met a couple of new people - Kathy and Greg, Minelab and Headhunter(?) users respectively. Even got a chance to talk to Clarence (Mr. Jones Beach), who showed me his latest ring find, and turned me on to a local refiner on Long Island. All in all, a great day on the beach, and four more solid hours of headphone time on the Sand Shark!
 
NIce hunt Terry, Wish I was closer...would have road shotgun. How are the water temps there? Things really don't start getting good here until July, then till late sept.......Congrads on the treasure..........
 
HI Terry,,,be careful...make sure you have your State Park Metal Detecting permit with you,,,,My brother was confronted :nono:and was asked for it,,,he has his,,luckily,,,,,,HH,,TIM

Case of infringement? WOT image on a permit, may want to keep a low profile on this one, someone turns them in,... permit department gets upset, major delay in the redesign for next year.
 
I think you should let them know!!!!!! How funny is that? I didn't even realize that - OMG!!!!

Just left a post for Doc in Nevada. He is one of the major Coiltek guys here in the States. Hilarious!
