Long day at Cocoa Beach

Dropped my Wife off in Orlando at 9:00 was on the beach at Cocoa at 10:00am. Started real slow, but a few targets later in the day. You have herd the old saying ,(It's a small world) Last week I met La-Z-Boy Lee at a local beach 125 miles from Cocoa. Today ,who do I run into La-Z-Boy Lee. Neither of us hit gold, but we had a nice day.Lee was tougher than I he fought the 2 to 4 ft. waves for an Hour or so. I wet sanded most of the day. Lee found allot of clad and he donated a truck to my toy collection.(Thanks Lee). No pics. of beach, dropped my new camera on driveway. Says shock resistant to 5 ft. "NOT" it quit working, back to Wal-Mart tomorrow. Took pics. of loot with old camera.

When they say shock resistant, they don't mean dropping it on the pavement!.......that would have to be shock proof!

Hi Joe, Nice finds. Sorry to hear about the camera. I Hope walmart swaps it out for you. Not much going on over here, wind still out of the west making the water really choppy and lots of sea weed.

Wal-Mart replaced the camera , no questions asked. I had only had it 4 weeks. So PaPa-Joe is a happy camper again. Maybe I will get out tomorrow and give it a spin to make sure it works in the water, and what the heck while I am out I can do a little hunting. My scoop needs to have some gold run Thur it sooner or later. HH
