Local school yard.

Went down to my local school yard after dinner and got some clad and a nice 10kt gold bracelet. This place has been pounded to death, but the old Explorer XS keeps on ticking...........:) HH.

Awesome find Eddie! WTG for the GOLD! That surely was worth the trip to the school yard and hope you have much more luck like that this year!

Thanks James. I have been in kind of a slump lately as far as gold jewelery is concerned, but that bracelet made my trip worth while. Now I have a piece of jewelery worth entering in our finds of the month................:) HH.

I myself is in a club called Minnkota Artifact and Recovery Group (MARG). The last 3 years I have taken 2nd 1st year, 1st the 2nd year and 3rd last year. It is alot of fun and you also get to see alot of finds found by others. Glad to hear that you broke your jewelery slump. Good Luck and HH.

mostly pennies .
I'm new at this and this was an interesting find because of the location. At a state park with a crushed stone parking lot, most of the coins were 2 to 3 feet up on the side of the hill.
I guess they must have been dropped and then snow plowed up to the hill. Even a few in a mousehole, and i'm glad kellyco gave me the pinpointer.
