I dug these here on my farm. There was a Yankee campsite here. I used the Nautilus 2B as these were fairly deep. The soil is sandy and I love how the brass comes out.

Very nice example of campsite finds. Does the bullet casing have a headstamp? if so, my guess is that it is not period. if not would like to see some more pictures of the base. Thanks and HH.

Nemo, it is a rimfire that measures 38 cal. on the rim. No headstamp. It may not be period but it was found with these relics. Pic inclosed. Thanks for the reply.
