Local Lake gave up today !!!

Found this in knee deep water..and boy was the water cold !!! got 3 inches of rain the last 4 days...lake level is back up some..musta stirred and chirned !!! good for me eh ??? hope this is real...I ordered a diamond tester...should have it this week...Cant wait to get to the coast with my sea hunter Mark II. I'll post when I find out more...happy hunting to all !!!

You are 1 lucky guy baron. 2 possible NICE diamond rings within, what 2-3 months? I've been at this since jul '04 and have never found a diamond ring that nice. Guess you and the Mark II are getting along real good. WTG! As Max says, solid hot goose!

Okay folks...here's the latest !!!
Took it to local Pawn Shop...the lady was borderline beligerent but managed to keep my comments to a dull roar..asked her to check if it was real gold and if the stone was real. She took a file...grinded the inside slightly; put a drop of some liquid onto it to see if it would turn blue (supposedly it would show if real gold or not); anyway it didn't turn ..I asked her if that meant it was real gold...no response. She then tested the stone with diamond tester..touched her personal tiny diamond ring the light turned green, then she touched my ring and it beeped and stayed red. She gave me a nasty "go to h*#&" look and said "I told you it wasn't real. So I guess this means I have what some call a "NUT" ???? I will definitely check it again later today after work with MY diamond tester I just bought. But it's not looking good I'm afraid..anyway it was exciting just the same. Guess I'll keep at it
