I recently purchased a new Lobo. The manual indicated batteries ought to last 25 to 30 hours. I read that when the batteries are tested after the detector is first powered on, the battery tester sound would become less loud as battery power becomes depleted from the detector being used. My question is how will I know when my batteries will be too weak for my Lobo to perform at a maximum output level? Will this occur when a barely audible sound can be heard when the detector is first powered on? I don't want to change my batteries too soon, but I also do not want to find less because my machine not having the necessary power to locate desired targets.
Does anyone have any suggestions concerning which brand of rechargeable batteries to purchase? With rechargeable batteries, I would change them more often and not have to worry so much about their cost. I have never purchased rechargeable batteries that were as effective as regular batteries.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
