Just wondering how the Lobo does as a coin and inland jewelry hunter? No gold nuggets around here so that function would be useless to me. I have the Tejon and plan on keeping it, so would the Lobo be a good add to my collection or would it just be another detector?

Hi Ron, I had a LOBO ST, Did very well on coins but didn,t find any rings but i think that i just didn,t go over any. I just traded for a nice Tejon because of no nuggets. I hope i did a good thing, everyone said the Tejon is very good. I will find out. But the Lobo should find gold rings very well. Good luck Flintstone

Of course I can't say much about the Lobo and my above question was to get some an idea about about the 2 machines. Now you can see my lineup below and I have only had the Tejon a few weeks and it is my most used of my 3 detectors. I think you will be pleased with your Tejon.

I don't know Ron why you want another detector,that 1270 is one hot detector for coins and gold jewelry. I WOULD NOT PUT IT ON BACKBURNER.You could always give it to me it is:eek:ne hot: detector

Well Woodchuck I am glad somebody wants my 1270, but right now I am not ready to give it away. :lol: I will keep you in mind if it decides to leave home.

Can't really compare the 1270 to the Tejon, but the Tejon is a different beast and I am really pleased with it so far.

I was hoping this thread would get some info on the Lobo for coins and inland jewelry hunting. The reason I have some interested in the Lobo is the auto ground tracking, I really liked that feature on the 1270 and the 1266x.
