I'm looking for a good used LOBO,although I'm not sure I know enough about them,,I'm hopeing for some feedback. is there a lobo that is fully automatic, and or best one to find gold?
I guess I'm still looking for answers. I had a SD2200 ,and there so hard to tune in.I'm tired of fiddiling with knobs, and constantley readjusting.....HELP !!!:sadwalk:

Lobo ST has automatic ground tracking that adjusts to changing mineral content.
From what i understand the automatic feature does not work in the Disc mode and u manualy Ground balance for like
Coinshooting.
From what i know it is a killer nugget detector amd i realy realy have always wanted one.
and will my next detector thats for sure.

[size=medium]The first Lobo had manual Ground Balance that was tied in with BOTH the All Metal mode and the motion Discriminate mode.

The current Lobo SuperTRAQ is different in several ways, and the two 'Lobo' models do NOT share the same search coils. The Lobo SuperTRAQ had a good Auto-Tracking Ground Balance that functions with the All Metal mode ONLY. The motion Discriminate mode GB is governed by an internal factory preset setting. The operator has no control over it.

Both models will do a good job when it comes to finding gold nuggets. I emphasize 'nuggets' because I can't tell you how many times a year I encounter folks who think it will pick up the little fine flour gold they get when panning. I have owned and used both of these models and, honestly, I prefer the original model so that I have control over the GB setting for each operating mode.

My all-time favorite model designed specifically for gold nugget hunting in the Tesoro Diablo

The X-Terra 70 and MXT have auto Tracking in both the All Metal and Disc. mode but the Lobo ST in only the All Metal mode. What is wrong with Tesoro that they cannot make and have auto Tracking in the Disc. mode?
