LOBO ST

I AM BUYING A LOBO ST DEMO, ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ONE, I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO I CAN GET LIKE THE LEARNING CURVE ETC.(REALLY ENJOY THE FORUM)

I had one a few years ago. Great on low conductors. It would hit hard on small foil bits, air rifle pellets, bb's, nickels and small jewelry. Good depth in all metal mode with the 8 inch concentric coil and good target separation with the discontinued 3X7 inch coil. Not as much depth in disc mode as I expected, but that was probably a combination of the preset ground balance in disc mode being set too positive and the virtually mineral free ground here.

I wish I knew a bit more about the LST since every now and then I think about one.
What also makes me wonder is the difference between the LST and Tejon as both run in the 17 kHz frequency range. Circuitry and some features are different but can't help wondering sometimes. Hope to see more replies to your question. HH

Tesoro says LST has a switchable 3 way mode awitch, then the computerized tracking takes over.
Sounds good to me!

If you trust computers, might as well trust 'em...

I personally think that the Lobo st has better discrimination in iron than the Tejon, but the Tejon is a deeper detector than the Lobo st (i have had both detectors and find the Lobo st the better detector out of the two detectors to use on the sites that i search in the UK)
i set my disc to 2.1/2 and my sens to 10 or just into the red , i find that i don't lose much depth on the gold coins that i look for on them settings
and i also find that im not digging loads of iron like i would be if i was using the Tejon.
