Lobo ST coil question

Eric

New member
How effective will a Lobo ST with a round 8'' concentric coil be in trash? Will it have better depth than with the elliptical coil?

thanks, Eric

Have to mention that I use an explorer xs now ith 8'' coil. But like to know if a lobo ST will serve me better in trashy conditions.

Thanks, Eric.

Hi Eric;
The elliptical coil has narrow foot print that is the advantage in trash. The trick is you got to go slow.
Not more than 2 ft.a second sweep speed. In trash depth is not an issue. It worked me.
Willard in Spokane.

Don't know about the round coil, but the 6x10 is KILLER in trash with my Tejon and I have not noticed any loss in depth. Also works great on the Vaquero:detecting:
