LOBO operators,,,,

Hello , looking at getting a dedicated gold machine and love Tesoro,,,,, tell me why I should get a LOBO ? Hunting in NorCal area,,,, thanks !!!!

They work great, have a life time waranty, and will pick up rice size nuggets, along with the big one's. You can't go wrong with a LOBO, but like anything else, you have to learn the detector. Grubstake

how does it handle hot rocks and HEAVY iron laden ground ???

Not too bad, if you use the Alkli setting, we have very hot ground out here, Hot rocks are a challege even with a Minelab PI. but it can be done. Grubstake

thanks forr youe help !!!

Yes , what grubstake said & I've ran in Black sand mode nugget searchin' as well . Just found one of the Baby 6.5 coils

i may regret it but I went with the GMT,,,,, lots of info on iron and such and a manual GB option,,,,, i feel cheap when I abandon Tesoro:blink:

With the tesoros I have used, they all give off a very distinct sound over hot rocks. I dug up a couple in the start and that was it. Around here the hotrocks give off an obvious signal that is quiet when the coil is over it and then gets loud when the coil is swung away from the target.

Grouser, good luck with the GMT.

thank you sir !!!!

Where is around here?
What size are you talking?
I've found hot rocks that null out AM and disc all the way, but they're bigger than a golf ball. The smaller ones disc out early.

Canada. I have not found a hotrock that gives a signal the way a piece of metal will. I hope I never do, they sound like a real nightmare.
