Lobo "no-motion"

silversmith

New member
Ok, I tried it. I took a rubber band and hooked it around the sensitivity knob, over (clock wise) the shaft, then hooked it to the pin point switch. That kept the unit on pin point (no motion). You could still return the switch to center to tune it. Hey, my kid says my new Lobo sounds like a RUBBER DUCKY
I'd better watch out, I sure don't want to find it in the bath tub.......!:lmfao:

What does that help you do silversmith?is is better to search in no motion all metal,I was looking and a web site from guy's in Alaska that said the lobo was about there best VLF gold detector there, but they said they searched in low discrimination to tune out hot rocks! and that did good for them,so can you explain? Thanks,Chuck.

Well Chuck, someone here on Finds, was looking for a all metals, no-motion detector. I just thought I'd list this here for all to see. The right way to do it would be to open up the electronics box and rewire the switch........BUT that would void your warranty, so this will work as a redneck alternative. Thanks for the response.
