Lobo for all arounder

I am looking for a new detector and have heard that the Lobo is a good coin and jewlery machine. How does it do in general detecting?

Hi,

I have any experience with Lobo. If I can say, you can be surprise with ability Lobo to indexed partially damaged targets, as old military buttons and small, really small silvers, weight less 1 gram. I use Lob with light tuning in the board, because I can do in, outside US is not applicable lifetime warranty. I have modified a bit basic level of automatic GB, machine is a bit unstable, but going in light negative mode. Discrimination is between 1 and 2 only. If you interested about Lobo, I can say that this the best in interferences, close railway, close high voltage upperground or underground wiring. And I use Lobo for trashed areas, for example fields with some additional materials from digging for roads, buildings, and old roads in the same conditions. And results are incomparable with others machines. My friends have been say to me that I am crazy if I like running in this areas, but my reply is: I know, you are not able search here nothing, and it is advantage for me, is not it :). This is my personal comment, I suppose not general information. I am sure, number of people who have deeper experience with Lobo can can advice you better.

Regards

If you will be looking for gold nuggets and you want to find coins and can only afford 1 detector then the Lobo st is a great detector.
I have one fitted with the 9x8 concentric coil and i have found some great coins with it here in the UK.

If you will not be looking for gold nuggets then i would say, save your self some money and take a look at the Cibola (at 14 kHz) as it goes as deep as the Lobo st and it will find the same things as the Lobo st.
I hope that this helps Les in the UK
