Loaded yard gives up multible silver and indians!

Hit a yard last nite with my buddy, when we knocked and asked for permission the guy told me we were welcome to detect it but he said I want to warn you my dad has detected this yard pretty hard and he has picked it clean......lol, yeah right!!!!

My first pass gave up a 7" deep indian, then a wheat, and I was thinking this guy's dad must of had a cheap machine or didn't know what he was doing at all. This yard was loaded! All in all I got the following

7 wheats, with 3 of them being 1909, one was a VDB
4 indians, 1880, 1884, 1890 and 1897
1919 buffalo nickel
2 mercs both 1936
2 barber dimes 1898 and 1913
the rosie came from a short hunt saturday as well os the token
also in this yard I got the little star that says "Best Ever Club"

My partner also scored wheats and a real nice 1929 SLQ, so this yard was a good one, makes me wonder what the dad actually dug up there?

IMost of my best finds this year has come from yards, including 3 Halfs.

My best weapon for hunting hunted out yards? The ability to manipulate my ETRAC to what I'm thinking when I open that car door.

Great job Terry, it is always sweet to find those "hunted out" yards....

You have a special accesory that works so well.....it is your knowledge of your machine!!!!

Awesome hunt!

Did you go back and show the owner, kind of rub it in? :surprised:
now why would I ever rub it in? the owner was kind enough to let me dig in his yard I am always polite to homeowners, and would never do that. I showed him my finds when he came out to talk to me and he kinda laughed and mentioned his dad must of had a cheap detector. And we chatted a bit and he went back inside.

Very nice! I can't believe how you kill it on those Indians. I've got 7 for the year lol. Great stuff.

I mean hunted properly, and with the one of the best machines on the market of course!

I am at almost 70 this season for indians and I am way, way down from last year! In 2012 I dug 174 indians

Holy crap! A lot of it is location too I'm sure. But knowing the signal/tone sure doesnt hurt. I've been digging a lot more 32-38 where some of the ones I found I believe showed up. Especially if its deep I dig it. It's always a nice treat when they show up though.
