I'm presently living in Ho Chi Minh , Vietnam. I want to get back in to Metal Detectoring. I lived inHawaii befoe this. I own a Excal,Etrc, and a Whites v3. Thats when they came. I remember they sent us new decals to stick on the machines. I been doing some reseach and decided on DFX 300, Mine Lab Safario Pro or Mine Lab Explorer SE Pro9, then again I might have this all scewed up. The soil toward the mountains is red,the beaches are pretty beaches, and where my fatherlaw lives in the Meakgong Delta,it is black. Nothing is the same. How about some of you guy and girl making some coments. stading by.

Don't they have some ancient sites there? Can you detect at them? How aabout some pictures...?

Hey Bob50, There's ALOT of Dangerous CRITTERS over there, so STAY ALERT-STAY ALIVE!! Watch out for the Poisonous SNAKES (King Cobras/ 2-Steppers/Sea Snakes, and
that is just a few), Tiger Sharks in S. China Sea, Poisonous SPiDERS, Python Snakes and Asian Tigers in the JUNGLE!! Then there are the Land MINES and I,m sure
PLENTY of UNEXPLODED Ordinance and finally you are living in a COMMUNIST Country!! Best of LUCK, Les Robinson.

I am getting ready for my father-inlaw to come over. Hes the one that has the farm in BEN LUC. He was given the farm by his father whos father gave it to him. So a long line on father inlaws own it. my wife told him what I wanted to do. He coming over and I got a load of qestions to ask him. He is 75 years old. HE will spend the night. So there will be plenty on beer for him. I know that it was home to the 9th inf division and there was a lot of fighting there. my wife tell me the her Grangfather tell's that he talked about a battle that you could see from thier front yard. so there's alot of things I got to worry about. think you for your concern. oh by the way I was here in 1969/1970 with the 173abn bde.
