Today me and luke decided to try some local swim holes i knew about. The first one was a small private beach-park and the minute we got out, a lady, with nothing happenning in her life came to see us and was insisting the place was private and only members could get in. I hunted this place many times before and nobidy ever bothered us.
We told her about the trash we were removing, in fact once i went in the water i took a hole skate board out of the lake but she insisted and told us we should see the president, get a letter and so on and so on. I was pissed off and we left the place declining the invitation to go see the president and other stupid things the lady was bothering us with. The hell with it, swim in your nails and bottle caps lady we're moving out!
So we drove back to our big beach and we started out where Luke has found is copper spier head. It's a heack of a long walk down the beach. A long walk and the place is filled with bottle caps and 70's pull tabs!
I got a signal and once i dug, i saw a very small bit of gold in my scoop. Gee did I broke that chain ? I've looked for a signal again, it was gone because there was also a bottle cap in the scoop. I scooped and scopped, dumping everything on the shore and looked in the mud... no dice! No trace of the rest of the chain
Well we continued for a long while, got a few pieces of old indian pottery in the scoop while digging other trash but it was pretty taugh and i was tired. Only found a 1936 nickle and tons of old shut gun shells.
So the afternoon was already advanced when we came back to a more occupyed area and I got a few more signals. Found 4 bucks in a hole and a 14K weird pendant. The pendant was on a piece of shoe string. Also got an old copper token, but it's so thin, i'm not 100% sure it's a token. Luke was fortunate to find a nice 18K lady ring with little diamonds.
Well two gold is better than nothing and i like those old indian arthefacts!
Well here is today's results :
