I hit a couple of park playgrounds this morning. Never have done any good at either one. The one I think is on a lot where there used to be an old house. I started detecting in the grassy areas around some of the big trees. Popped up a 1923 Standing Lib quarter. All you can see on the date is the 3 so has to be a 1923 with no mint mark. Still nice for me. Don't find too many of those. Good luck all.
 
Those coins sure are hard to find - rarely see one reported on the net. WTG - good persistence pays off. Steve in so az

Don't find Standing Libertys very often. Though the date isn't the best at least you brought it out to daylight after all those years of being hidden. Glad you are getting out.
