Little Sunday Hunt and a "What is It"?

I went out this morning before the Indy and NASCAR race. I found this copper deal at the edge of a park under an old cypress tree. It is made of copper. It has two tabs on the back to clip it to something. No writing on it at all. Anyone know what it is? I found 39 coins for $1.89.

Great hunting. Not really sure but could be a brass interior plate for a very old automobile. Its definitely old.

Nice finds, no clue what the copper thing is.

It is the original design for the paper-clip, or something, the pattern on it looks like a paper-clip, other than that I am lost, maybe a page holder? I like it, wish I had one. HH!

I'm with liltracs on this one. Looks like it might be an auto interior trim piece. What ever it is, it looks cool.
