Little Silver & Odds and Ends...

Being addicted to metal detecting I needed a fix. With temperatures in the low 70's it has been ideal weather to quench my detecting thirst. The past few months I have been going over to my hunting buddy Kenneth's town to detect but for a change, he came over to my town. We drove around looking for a lot to hunt and while driving on Roosevelt Street we spotted an abandoned house. Well, it IS Roosevelt street maybe we will at least find a silver dime or 2. My first signal was a 1944 Mexican 20 centavos coin. That's a good way to start - already found a coin older than I am ( not by much) and that's getting harder and harder to do. Then I dug a few Memorials and some clad and got a nice 78-79 reading on my V3i at 4". I was hoping for a silver dime but I was not dissapointed with a Sterling Silver 4 year safe driving pin. A few inches from the pin I dug a 1953-d Roosevelt. I think the next time out I'll look for a lot on Franklin Street! Hahhah. I also dug a total of $2.07 in clad & memorials a couple tokens a neat old toy airplane and a recently dropped 9mm round. Best of luck and...
