Thats the one alright! I hear you about the anticipation when you first see a big ring clanging around in the scoop...a guy is initially excited, but holds back a little on account of it might be a junker or worse yet, a class ring...its a 'heart drop' on both counts for me too! The junk ring isnt worth anything, and the class ring will cost you time and perhaps even travel or shipping money for a 'thank you'..at least all mine have..
Oh well..I guess making somebody elses day is what we are here for!
A big one like that really cranks up the year total! Sweet!

Now...... whatcha going to do with it? Those are the kind that find their way into my safe. Size that baby like i have on a few and wear it with pride. No need to custumize a ring when you got one like that baby. Great find.

Thanks all...this one goes in the safe for now. At my jewelers yesterday he quoted $50 to resize up 2 sizes if I supply the gold. He would also move/save the 14k mark since it's right at the base of the band. I had thought of resizing when I found it, but I really don't care for high domed rings and besides, I have a nice 18k I found a couple years ago that is the only one I like to wear....which is not too often anyway.
