got off work early today so i thought i would start my weekend with alittle detecting. went to a park that's been hunted hard for years. i remember being 10 years old and watching a guy detecting in this park as he pulled some Buffalo nickels out of the ground,I'm 48 now and just got my e-trac in feb. i did get my first dollar coin there today, but it wasn't silver. when i first popped it out of the ground i thought it was a large cent. but i did get 1 silver dime and 2 wheat's with some new money. tomorrow I'm going back to the spot where i got 8 silver coins last week so maybe i can put some more pictures up tomorrow.

Awesome! Our ground is freezing as we speak, I'm jealous.

Real nice finds - it's always great to find Mercury Dimes !
For many of us - any day you can get out and hunt this time of year - is a great day !
