Little help with tones

Yesterday I could hear the sound of each # assigned to each tone, but not today. Can anyone tell me why. What did I do. I own a V3 and was in the expert menu
 
If you assigned the the tones did you save them to the program? Just a thought. Yazoo
 
When on the audio control, put your trigger into the locked position. You will hear the tones as you change them then.

That was the problem, thanks To many things to remember.
