Little gold, but I'll take it!.........

Went for a solo spin sunday morning. Was in the water at 1230A into a 346A -0.9L. Winds were just turning NW 5-10 and the water was still higher than the projection, but the air temperature was a balmy 66.2 degrees and water temp was around 60, so I had on the wetsuit. Tried a location on seawall with the Excal and had $.60 in clad and some junk in the wet sand and shallow surf. No targets were showing out deeper.

Left there at 2A and headed to a clean surf area and broke out the Aquasearch. There were no targets showing out beyond the 2nd bar, so I was hunting in between the 1st and 2nd bar. Targets were still scarce, but every now and then the A2 would blast my ears off and wake me up. I worked all day and did not get any sleep before the hunt.

Ended up with $1.42 in clad at this location. Jewelry items on the menu were a ferrous toe ring, junk earring w/dangle spikes and the 10K earring with 3 hearts. It did not weigh much, but I was mighty proud to see it in my scoop.

Went home at 615A and I was so tired that I could hardly keep my eyes open!

G.H. Little gold sounds like music to my ears, all I have posted in the past 2 weeks has been NO Gold.but I have found another beach close to my house maybe i'll get lucky. Keep up the good work.HH
