Out a couple of days ago after we got some snow dump on us in Edmonton. Nothing too serious......It seems to be melting as I speak. Kind of weird-how some places are hot with drought conditions and we are getting snowed upon. Any how, the signs were there for a some silver coins, but they just didn't bite today. However, some old relics were found, and it was just nice to get outside and do some metal detecting.

Here are my 3 cents worth, and a brass frog, which for the life of me don't know what he was doing there. It sure banged hard on "87" though.

Below are some pics taken of some of my buddies in the woods. It's always nice to take a camera along just in case!
 
SNOW! Guess your detecting season is coming to a close. You need to head south like your feathered friends. Love the frog - what do you think it is? A brooch or pendant?
