Went for a short hunt this morning before my doctor's visit. Only had about an hour so I hopped in the Cruiser with the little 250 armed with the sniper coil and headed to the local swimming pool just a few blocks from the house. Got the usual clad and this nice little Sterling Silver necklace. Man, chains and grass roots do not get along with each other. Took about 5 mins. to seperate the two.

I love finding religious medallions. That come with an intact chain too! Fantastic find! And it sure takes a while to separate the chain from the grass. I'll bet you went to the Dr's office feeling just fantastic. He probably didn't want to see you for another year!

Thanx for pointing out that it was a religious medallion. I had just looked at the back to see if it was Ster. and had not even noticed the Virgin Mary in the fake stone.
Yup, went in feeling good and out feeling confused. At least the dizzy spells have subsided. Either have vertigo or anxiety attacks(need more 'tectin time).

Did he mention orthostatic hypotension? It would probably be quite common with people metal detecting, due to a major change with blood pressure switching from the starting position to the squatting position. :?:

No mention, but I'll have a look at it. I can't squat due to serious injuries in a car accident(2 broken legs, one just below the knee, crushed calcanius, ((that's your heel)), multiple fractures left arm and wrist) so I bend from the waist most of the time. Thanx Dr. John!!

Are you on any kind of medication? Some of those will cause dizzy spells and vertigo among other things.

Get a free print out from your pharmacist on your medication and it will list all side effects and reactions with anything else you might be taking, including certain foods. Most of the doctors never read up on this stuff and their only source of info is the claptrap fed them by the drug reps.

One time I was discussing a certain drug with my urologist ( that he had just been praising ) that was killing and maiming people all over the country, the drug company that made it was awash in law suits, and the drug was being pulled from the market. My urologist was astounded and the first thing out of his mouth was, " Well, the drug Rep never told me anything about that."

I replied, " Did you really think he would?"
