I just got permission for this House
As you can see this house looks very old. When I got permission to hunt here I was told that two other Hunters had hunted this House. I know both these Guys and have hunted with one whom I consider a really good Hunter. This guy really has a good ear for the Detectors. I was kinda disappointed that he had beat me to this site. I decided to check it out this afternoon and had only about an hour to hunt. Now my buddy has a good ear but he rarely ever Grids and just wanders around when hunting. I arrived to find that as bad as this place looks, it has not been vacant too long. Although I have found no Zincs, I found mainly Memorials. My first signal was a 1965 Quarter. Kinda shocked me that there was a bunch of these Modern Coins here. I found so many Coins I call this a Virgin Site. My advantage may be the Cows keeping the grass down or my Etrac with the small Coil. I only found one 1956D Wheat but I got very little hunted. I did find a couple 63 Nickles. Since I hunted right in Front I bet I am hunting right where the other Hunters went straight at.
Moral of the story and advice to other Hunters is do not assume a place is real old or real new from the appearance. The fact that you are told another Hunter has been there means nothing. Always Grid your Sites.
