Just wonder what it will cost to replace screen on ctx 3030 when warranty runs out.Due to the black lines on screen.
 
Oh, probably just about what any other detector would cost...
 
A lot of users seem to have that problem. I have one of the first machines released and fortunately have not had any problems. The electronics are made in Australia and hardly heard of any problems until the CTX.:shrug:
 
why wait? won't it be covered now? how long is the warranty anyway? you would think that I know but I have forgotten. all of a sudden my screen burned a bunch of pixels so I called Minelab and they didn't even ask how long I had it but said to send it back if I wanted to but that there would be a 10 to 14 day delay due to being busy and that if I could live with it I could send it back at the end of the season. I will have to see if I can live with it this way or not...
