limiter circuit for 8 ohm headphone

I say get rid of the 8 ohm phones, can't compare to 30 ohm phones for clear, crisp sound. I also have 150 ohm phones, slightly better than 30 ohms.
 
It depends on the machine impedance and speaker quality to determine what sounds clear.
8 ohms is rather low though.
Your 150 ohm phones are probably 75 ohm. The speakers are 150 each in parallel. That depends also on the jack wiring and if the phones put the speakers in parallel or series.
